Is it easier to get a clean sound with an Electric Guitar than an acoustic one when we first pick up a guitar?
I tried to play an acoustic one but I hardly get any clean sound. Not that I have an electric guitar to try. But when I play an electric bass for the first time, it's fine. So I wonder if it goes the same for an electric guitar.
The answer is yes.....for most people....this is for the simple reason that it takes more strength to press down the strings on an Acoustic Guitar. This is assuming that both guitars have a professional (or at least a decent) setup. Keep in mind that in theory if you can play one you can play the other since the notes and chords are the same as long as both guitars are in the same tuning So yes an electric would be easier but it definitely not hurt to learn on ACOUSTIC. That's what I did.
