The Fender Guitar that you recommend?
Looking to buy a new guitar, a Fender Stratocaster - I was wondering if anyone can advise me as to who is the best type to get the neck, rosewood or maple? I play mostly rock with some blues thrown in. I also the views of someone of color they recommend: Candy Cola, Blizzard Olympic White or Pearl. Thank you for the suggestions.
Hello, First Instead, the color does not affect the playability. Thus the color you prefer. It's more about how you feel comfortable with The Guitar. As rosewood vs. maple (or any other type of wood for the mast), the difference is very subtle. Maple has a sound slightly thinner rosewood, which is sweet. Great guitarist, many prefer maple (Clapton and Buddy Guy) and many, many others prefer rosewood (SR Vaughan, B. Raitt, Jeff Beck). Try to see what is the preference of the artist you want.
