Flame Maple Ash

What do these types of guitar woods mean?

Quilted (Ash), Flamed (maple), Select (spruce),
and what other kinds are there?

and what other kinds are there?

Quilted ash, and flamed maple are particular types of these woods, giving a particular visual effect.
'Select' just means 'chosen for quality' There are many different woods used in Guitar Making, chosen either for their workability/durability,for their accoustic qualities, or for the way they look. I like quilted ash- I'm shortly planning to buy a Yamaha Guitar in this wood, because I think it's gorgeous.
